Type: Laptop System: LENOVO product: 5016A26 v: ThinkPad L520 So if I restore the snapshot then update how can I prevent the same problem from happening again. Maybe I can copy my entire home directories to a flash drive then restore the snapshot? I don’t have a flash drive that big so I’ll have to cut corners. (Although I think this is gonna cause a LOT of problems ) And copy all of them to my current system and replace all of them. Then I’m going to copy all the folders in my root directory except the home directory (So thats /bin /lib etc…). I had an idea of creating a snapshot for the current system. Is there a way to restore it and keep my new files? ![]() It’s basically a snapshot of my entire system however I can’t restore it because I have a lot of new files in multiple directories. NOTE: My inxi output is at the have a snapshot created at with a kernel version of 5.13 ![]() Continuing the discussion from Keepassxc not launching.
